Can I transfer money from my account to another Delta Community member online?

To complete a Member to Member transfer:

  1. Within Online Banking, select Member to Member Transfer from the Transfer tab.
  2. To add a new recipient, select + Add a Recipient located in the top right corner of the page.
    • To add a recipient type in the name of the person you want to add. Provide the first three characters of the last name (Primary only), Account type (checking, savings, etc.), Suffix (ie. 00 for savings, 10 or 11 for checking, 35 for Money Market and then the Recipients ID (Member account number).
    • To add a Business Account as a recipient provide the first three letters of the business name with the Suffix 70 or 50 as provided by the business and then the Business account number.
  3. Choose the Verify Recipient or Go to Transfers option at the bottom of the page.
  4. Select Add Recipient or Cancel on the confirmation screen that identifies the Recipient. Add Recipient takes you to the next step and adds this member to a list for future use.
  5. Use the drop down menu to select the From and To accounts.
  6. Select the date and amount.
  7. If you would like this to be a recurring transfer, select the Repeat box. In the pop-up box, choose the frequency from the list of options.
  8. Enter a memo (optional).
    • In this field, the use of special characters are limited to $ % ( ) . + =
  9. Click on Make a Transfer.
  10. Select Confirm or Cancel on the Confirmation screen.
  11. Once the Confirmation screen displays, select Go to My Accounts or Make Another Transfer.
  12. The transferred funds are immediately available to the receiving member.

Adding New Recipients within the Mobile App

  1. Within the Mobile App, select Make a Transfer.
  2. Select From, to choose which account you want to make the transfer from.
  3. Select To, and select Add a recipient.
    • To add a recipient, type in the first 3 characters of the recipient's last name (Primary only), Account type (checking, savings, etc.), Account Suffix (ie. 00 for savings, 10 or 11 for checking, 35 for Money Market, etc.) and then the recipients Member ID (Member account number).
    • To add a Business Account as a recipient, provide the first three letters of the business name with the Suffix 70 or 50 as provided by the business and then the Business account number.
  4. Select Verify Recipient.
  5. Select Add Recipient or Cancel on the confirmation screen that identifies the Recipient. Add Recipient takes you to the next step and adds this member to a list for future use.

Other options available:

  • Submit transfer request using Contact Us located under Additional Services within Online Banking. Please be sure to include the member number and name on the account to which you are requesting to transfer funds. Please enter Member to Member in the Subject field of the new ticket.
  • You can also send a fax request to 404-677-4781 or 404-677-4598 attn: Operations Advisors requesting funds transfer to another member's account. Please be sure to include the account number and name on the account you're transferring to as well as your signature on the request.

How can I delete the recipients from my list?

From the Transfers tab, choose Manage Transfer Recipients. Click Remove to delete the member from your list. On the confirmation page, click Yes or No to confirm the deletion of the recipient.

Do I have a grace period before I am charged interest?

We do not charge interest on purchases if you pay your entire balance by the due date each month. We will begin charging interest on cash advances and balance transfers on the transaction date. Click here to review your terms and conditions.

Do I have a courtesy period on my Visa credit card before I am charged a late fee?

A late payment fee is charged if you are ten (10) or more days late in making a payment. To avoid any late fees, review your monthly Visa statement and pay the Minimum Due (Past Due, if any + Current Due) by the due date.

No Annual Fee:

No annual fee is assessed by the credit union.

Electronic Services:

As a cardholder you can make your Visa payments by either using Online Banking or Self-Service IVR, as well as make cash advances to checking. You can also review purchase history online and receive your Visa statement through the online statement feature.

Reward Points:

Delta Community Credit Union Visa Platinum Rewards cardholders are automatically enrolled in the Credit Union's Rewards Points program. To enroll, visit www.deltacommunitycu.com/rewards Once enrolled, you can earn points redeemable for travel rewards including air, hotel and rental car, retail and dining gift certificates/cards, merchandise, charity and cash back rewards. As a participant, you will earn one (1) point per each $1 spent for eligible purchases made on the Platinum Rewards Credit Cards and (1) point per every $3 spent for eligible signature-based purchases made with Check Cards. PIN- based transactions do not accumulate points. No points are earned for the purchase of traveler's checks, balance transfers, interest or service charges, cash advances or ATM withdrawals. Delta Community Visa cardholders can be enrolled as Contributing Participants under a Primary Participant's account. The Primary Participant controls the points. Emergency Services:

With the Emergency Disbursement service, you have peace of mind knowing that your Visa card can be replaced quickly, easily and conveniently. In the U.S., a card can be replaced and delivered in as little as 24 hours. Outside of the U.S., it is often replaced as quickly as one business day. Additionally, Emergency Disbursement is available on Delta Community Visa Credit Cards. You can receive up to $5,000 in emergency cash, usually within 24 hours. Once your cash request has been approved and processed, you can pick up the cash at a convenient Emergency Service Location. The credit union's credit cards are also protected against loss or theft. One call to Visa will block your account to prevent fraudulent charges and arrange for a replacement card to be delivered to you. As a Visa cardholder, your transactions are secured with Visa. Visa recently enhanced its security for online purchases making the experience more seamless and easier while protecting you from fraud.

Zero Liability:

Visa's Zero Liability policy means 100% protection for the credit union's Visa cardholders against fraudulent purchases that take place on the Visa system. Delta Community's Visa credit and/or debit cards offer complete liability protection. Should someone steal your card number while you're shopping, online or off, you pay nothing for fraudulent activity. If you notice fraudulent activity on your card, promptly contact us at 1-800-544-3328 to report it. This policy does not cover ATM withdrawals.

Minimal International Service Assessment (ISA) Fees:

Visa, like other credit card companies, adds an ISA fee to cover currency conversion costs on all transactions done outside the United States, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands. The minimum Visa ISA fee is 1% of the transaction, and the credit union does not increase the ISA handling fee. Many other credit card issuers may increase the international transaction fee as much as 3%.

What should I do if my Credit, check(debit) or ATM card is lost or stolen and what is my liability for fraudulent charges?

Contact Delta Community immediately at 1-800-544-3328 or 404-715-4725 to block the card and report the fraudulent charges.

You may also block your card using Online Banking, select Additional Member Services > Card Management > Follow the prompts

Always report the loss promptly to ensure the -0- liability on Visa transactions when a Visa card is lost or stolen. A new card can be ordered at your request and will be delivered in 7-10 business days. If there are unauthorized charges, you will be asked a series of questions to report the fraud. It may be necessary to complete additional paperwork. but a Delta Community representative will contact you if this is necessary. In most circumstances, a conditional credit is posted to your account.

How do I submit a question or comment to the Credit Union?

To securely submit questions or concerns to Delta Community, log in to your account and select Contact Us under the Additional Services tab in Online Banking or under More in the Mobile App.

You may also contact us by phone at 800-544-3328 or click Contact Us for a list of other associated phone numbers.

How do I view open and resolved conversations with the Credit Union?

From the Mobile App:

  1. Access Contact Us under More.
  2. Select Messages from the menu (3 horizonal bars).
  3. Adjust ticket filter to view all, open or closed tickets.

From Online Banking:

  1. Access Contact Us under the Additional Services tab.
  2. Select the Messages tab.
  3. Adjust ticket filter to view all, open or closed tickets.

What if I do not remember my username?

If you have forgotten your online banking username:

  1. On the Delta Community login page, select the Forgot Username or Password?link.
  2. On the page titled Forgotten Password, do NOT type anything in the member number box and just select the I have a username link in blue.
  3. On the page titled Can't access your account?, do NOT type anything in the phone number or username box and just select the I forgot my username link in blue.
  4. On the page titled Forgot your Username?, type in the email address you have on file with us and selectSend.
    • You will receive an email containing your username.
    • If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk mail folder or reenter your email address.

What if I do not remember my password?

If you have forgotten your online banking password:

  1. On the Delta Community login page, click the Forgot Username or Password?link.
  2. On the page titled "Forgotten Password", do not type anything in the member number box and just click the I have a username link in blue.
  3. On the page titled "Can't access your account?", enter the security phone number you already have on file, then enter your online banking username, and click Send me a new password.
    1. An eight-character temporary password consisting of lowercase letters and numbers will be sent via a phone call or text message. If previously enabled in online banking, you can receive the temporary password via text message. If you receive the temporary password via a phone call, write it down before you disconnect the phone call as you will need it for several of the following steps.
  4. On the page titled "We just sent you at temporary password", type in the eight-character temporary password you received and click Confirm.
  5. On the page titled "Success! You need to change your password", in the box labeled Temporary Password, type in the temporary password you received.  In the box labeled New Password, type in what you want your online banking password to be going forward.
    • Password requirements:
      • Must be at least eight characters long
      • Must contain at least one of each of the following characters: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special character
      • Allowed special characters are ! @ # $ % ^ & * + - _ = ( ) { } : ; ` , . / ?
      • Cannot contain any whitespace
      • Cannot contain your member number or online banking username
  1. In the box labeled Retype Password, type in the same password you typed in the New Password box, then click Change Password to complete the process.
